The Doctoral School of Physics at Eötvös Loránd University (ELTE), Budapest, decided to launch a program in Physics Education in 2007, which is ongoing since then. The goals and objectives of the program are summarized here, along with the results of the first years.

Before defense, students are expected to publish at least one paper in a peer-reviewed international journal or conference proceedings. The collection of all these papers, ordered according to topics, are accessible under "Publications". Some of the students were succesful in creating interactive e-learning materials, as well. These appear by clicking on E-Learnig Materials. Some others compiled booklets covering their teaching modul, whose pdf files are collected under Written Materials. All items are freely downloadable.

The language of the program is Hungarian, therefore most of the PhD dissertations is written in Hungarian, but do have a "Theses" booklet in English, accessible here.
